I was going through some news and I came across about the rescued baby dolphin dumped in the rice field due to the tsunami. The said dolphin was rescued 12 days after the disaster in Japan. The news caught my eye but I wasn't able to get enough details because most them were all the same.
According to what I have read, the baby dolphin at that time was weak so they managed to catch it, wrap it in a towel and set it free in the Pacific.
The rescuers were uncertain if the baby dolphin is going to live. However, it was better than dying in the rice field.
The man who found the dolphin struggling in the shallow seawater was Mr. Taira.
