Last Friday, the procession started a little late. It started at almost 6pm. It started in one of the Churches in town, progressed slowly to the streets, stopping every station in order to commemorate the Station of the Cross which represents a significant moment in Passion of Christ and refers to the events that led to His crucifixion and resurrection from death. The procession took 2 hours long. It wasn’t tiring. It was actually enervating.
This day, Easter Sunday, signifies the end of Lent, the season in which Catholics undergo penance, prayer and fasting. Most Catholics, at this moment, are going to church, or enjoying their time with their families hanging out at beaches.
Sadly, we don’t have any egg hunting activity at home. However, we still have other alternatives to commemorate this Special day.
Happy Easter Everyone!
